Help for your dashboard

Connect WordPress

The connection lets LeonWP read your WordPress website’s status and use the services you have booked.

Updated on October 14, 2026

Set up the connection

Open “Connection” in the project and follow the setup steps. You need the appropriate WordPress permissions to complete setup.

  1. Check the website address.
  2. Install and activate the connector for your booked service.
  3. Complete pairing and the application password setup shown on screen.
  4. Check that the dashboard reports a complete connection.

Choose the right connector

The LeonWP Connector supports maintenance and custom extensions and code features when your plan allows them.

The LeonWP Care Connector is intended for Update Management: inventory, logs, backups, staging, maintenance mode, ordinary updates and recovery. It does not support custom snippets or installing custom-built plugins and themes. Keep only one connector active on a website.

Missing or incomplete connection

Check the website address, active connector and any unfinished setup steps. Pairing alone may not be enough for some actions.

If the connection stops working after a WordPress change, check it again. Never share passwords or pairing keys in public messages.
